Drug misuse and addiction to depressants can cause serious social turmoil as well. If you take these drugs not for medical reasons, you are breaking the law. Having a history in drug abuse can considerably limit many social processes such as driving privileges, and you can be dismissed to work or school for doing such things.

These should not be used with alcohol or with other medicines like analgesics or cold medicines.

Hallucinogens

Many forms of hallucinogenic drugs are mostly illegal and anyone holding these drugs can be fined or you can be sentenced to imprisonment. The worst case scenario, as it is recurring to any drug overdose, is death. Like any other drug misuse and addiction, too much of such drugs can cause severe health hazards and can cause complications if you already have existing health problems.

Drug misuse and addiction arises when there is an overt desire to take the drugs out of the immediate pleasures of doing it. Others develop a significant “need” to use certain drugs and to others, it is sheer ignorance and irresponsibility to handle such prescription drugs.

Take the time to understand the effects and the social and legal reprimands of drug overuse. If you have a friend or family member who needs help and intervention, do it now before they suffer the consequences of drug overuse in the near future.
